Hi, I’m Heather—owner and operator of Henhouse Learning, a Nationally Board Certified Educator, a 4-H leader, and a mom of two!

I’ve spent over 15 years in education, and throughout my journey, one thing has always been clear to me:
The most meaningful learning happens when kids are given the opportunity to truly experience something meaningful.

My passion for this work comes from my own life—growing up in 4-H, raising animals, and now raising my own children. I’ve seen how caring for animals builds confidence, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the world around us.

I created this business to make it easier for families and schools to say yes to something meaningful—without feeling overwhelmed.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with my family, caring for our animals, supporting youth through 4-H, or dreaming up new ways to bring learning to life outside the classroom.

This isn’t just a business to me—it’s something I truly believe in and have fun doing!!
